Brittany Russell Named Director At Small Strides

With a strong background in educational leadership and a passion for fostering young minds, Russell brings more than a decade of experience to her new role.

As director, Russell will oversee the curriculum and implementation of Nevada pre-k standards, ensuring the highest quality of care and education for all children.

Her responsibilities include maintaining continuity of care between home and school, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the preschoolers, and providing teachers with the necessary tools and training to promote success in the classroom.

Prior to joining Small Strides, Russell served as a first-grade teacher at Kennewick School District in Washington state, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the educational and interpersonal development of her students.

Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education from Central Washington University and a Master of Education in elementary education from Grand Canyon University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Russell is also known for her dedication to community service, having volunteered for Toys for Tots for seven years.
